About Jami

Jami is a dynamic speaker that will both grab your group’s attention and hold it the entire time while also filling them with knowledge and inspiration to leave the world better than when they sat down. She is a sassy ball of fire with the joy of God inside her. Jami has an interesting way of delivering a no-nonsense message encouraging self-reflection, a look at taking care of themselves, and a deep dive into people’s innate temperament, skills, talents and desires, but can get them laughing and having a great time along that journey. Jami’s audiences always leave full of inspiration and dreams to go out into the world and live out what they were created to be and do.

Jami spent much of her childhood on stage and behind a television camera which simply grew and molded her already strong stage presence and ability to entertain. She continued to grow that talent throughout her young adult life by continuing to work on stage in the pageant world and through many music and performing opportunities.

The next phase of her life included furthering her education at Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, OK. She spent time studying Early Childhood, Elementary and Special Education and graduated in 2003 where she immediately went into a classroom teaching career for 6 years.

While Jami loved teaching and truly believed she was a gifted educator, she found herself struggling with two things: juggling motherhood while doing her best for the kids in her classroom, and the seemingly growing gap between what was pushed in public education and what children actually needed to learn to thrive in our ever-changing world. Luckily, God provided an opportunity for Jami to start her own business in the network marketing world, and she was able to step away from the classroom to pursue that goal of freedom in her own life. She has worked in her business in two main ways: marketing and selling her products, and growing a team to do the same which required recruiting, training, coaching and mentoring. She is still working in this field and knows the struggle that many small businesses and entrepreneurs face.

Jami is currently working on a start-up business focusing on serving those that have experienced hair loss from chemotherapy or other health challenges. Through building this start-up called Comfort Beanie, she is learning about whole new challenges having never started a business from scratch. She can speak to others about finding what they are passionate about and discerning whether that passion is monetizable or if it is simply a ministry. She has walked through that exact debate in this new adventure.

While all of her prior experience and education is important to her ability to deliver her message in a clear, precise and entertaining fashion, the true importance of what she has to share with your group came as she simply dealt with the things life threw her way.

Jami recently walked through a breast cancer diagnosis which led to 16 rounds of chemotherapy and several surgeries. This walk led her through a journey of self-discovery which included learning how to advocate for herself and her health. She learned that nobody is going to care about your health more than you and it is up to you to know what your body needs and how to best care for yourself, physically and mentally. Healthcare in and of itself is a crazy rollercoaster and she has learned to navigate it through her own personal experiences. She loves to share with others about this topic and how they can advocate for themselves.

Jami has worn many hats throughout her life: the child performer mentioned above, typical high school student, barista, cosmetology student and eventually stylist, teen wife, young mom, college student juggling motherhood and family life, teacher, foster mom, adoptive mom, business owner, breast cancer survivor, and most importantly, Child of God. Some of these seasons of life lasted longer than others while other seasons taught her more about navigating life. The most important of all has been her relationship with Christ and the path that He has taken her on to discover what He called her to do and share with others.
Jami absolutely loves to speak to business builders and entrepreneurs or groups of women.

On one hand, she is a successful business owner who has walked through many stages of starting, growing, and maintaining a business. She has seen the good, the bad, and the ugly that comes along with entrepreneurship but has successfully guided herself into a life of freedom where she can do what God has called her to do. Her first business is in the world of MLM and network marketing. She not only learned to market her items and herself, but also grew a team of almost 2,000. She learned to coach and mentor others into finding their own life of freedom even though that looks different for every single person. She can lead others with compassion and grace, but also push them to be better and do more.

More recently, she has a passion for speaking specifically to groups of women about their health and how they can take care of themselves while also maintaining a home, and family, and a business. Yes, women CAN do it all! Jami was running a successful network marketing business when she received her breast cancer diagnosis. In a time where she was receiving chemotherapy, having surgeries, and essentially advocating for her own health, she continued to grow that business and even start another. As a result of that walk through breast cancer, Jami loves to share with groups of women how they can easily monitor their health and take care of themselves even while working or caring for a family.

Overall, Jami knows that God has called her to motivate, inspire, and spur others into the paths that God has for them. She uses such a fun mix of candor, humor, and story-telling to teach others.
Jami is an amazing speaker to hire for many different scenarios because of her ability to customize her content for whatever group is in front of her.
